Why we built it

There's no place to be honest about your own campus. Instagram is your highlight reel. Reddit is strangers worldwide. Your group chat is eight friends. None of them is the whole campus, talking freely, with nothing to perform and no name to protect. YapCampus is that missing room - the one where you can say you're failing a class, ask the question everyone's thinking, or share what actually happened last night, without it following you around.

How it works

  • Verified students only. You join with your college email, so the feed is genuinely your campus - not bots, not outsiders, not strangers worldwide.
  • Anonymous inside. Your email verifies you're a student, then it steps aside. Posts, replies, and votes carry an anonymous handle - never your real name or face.
  • Your campus, your feed. Everything is scoped to your college: the confessions, the drama, the polls, the lost-and-found, the late-night thoughts. It's the conversation happening around you, right now.
  • Safe by design. Content is screened by AI, sensitive-but-legal posts can be blurred behind a tap, and anyone can anonymously report something for human review.

Anonymous, not lawless

Anonymity is what makes people honest - but it should never become a weapon. No doxxing, no harassment, no hate, no threats. Our Community Guidelines spell out exactly what's welcome and what gets removed, and our team reviews every report. The goal is simple: a place that stays real and stays safe.

Your privacy
